Barala said public participation, especially from the youth, was essential for India to achieve its goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047. He noted that Sirsa Railway Station had been renovated under the Amrit Bharat scheme and said the government aimed to transform the Swadeshi movement into a mass campaign.

He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had worked for the welfare of all sections of society and significantly upgraded railway facilities. Barala said the Haryana Government was also supporting rural economic growth through its enterprise and employment policy, which promotes micro-industries and agriculture-based units.

He further highlighted schemes aimed at women’s empowerment, including loans of up to Rs 3 lakh for self-employment and training for women’s self-help group members under the ‘Drone Didi’ programme to help them build new livelihoods.
