On the auspicious occasion of Holi, a vibrant and colourful cultural programme was organised at Dr BR Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat, under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Professor Devinder Singh.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, non-teaching staff and a large number of students. The entire university fraternity celebrated the festival with great zeal, warmth and a spirit of unity.

The programme commenced with students applying colours to the Vice-Chancellor and the registrar. In his address, the VC extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all. He emphasised that Holi is a festival of love, brotherhood and togetherness. He encouraged everyone to let go of minor grievances and strengthen bonds of mutual respect and affection.

On this occasion, the registrar, professor Ashutosh Mishra, spoke about the cultural and spiritual significance of Holi. He mentioned that Holika Dahan symbolises the burning away of negativity and evil from within us. The celebration of colours thereafter represents renewed enthusiasm, happiness and a fresh beginning in life. He urged students to celebrate the festival with dignity and decorum, while preserving its traditional values
