NCC enrolment drive at school in Karnal

Karnal: Pratap Public School, Sector 6, has introduced the NCC and first round of its enrolment was conducted on Monday. Principal Puja Waalia Mann said it was open for all streams of Class XI. The students were selected on the basis of their academic performance and physical fitness. The selection procedure was carried by 7 Haryana Battalion, NCC, Karnal, under the supervision of Subedar Major Sukhvinder Singh, Subedar Rajeev Kumar and Havaldar Sunil Kumar.

Honour for varsity professor

Faridabad: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Texas Instruments (TI) India have awarded a certificate of appreciation to Associate Professor Neelam Duhan, department of computer engineering, JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, for running industry-sponsored programmes on the university premises. Under the TI embedded system design course, low power micro-controller kits were distributed to the selected participants from the university.
