Notice to 65K property tax defaulters in G’gram

Gurugram, February 9

The Gurugram Municipal Corporation has identified and issued notices to 65,000 property tax defaulters to clear their dues running in several crores by March 31.

It has threatened to seal and even auction off their properties if the due are not cleared. The MC has not received the estimated Rs 250 crore of income in property taxes. The total collection till date stands at around Rs 160 crore. —TNS
