NRI killed by unidentified men in Pehowa

A Germany-based NRI was killed by some unidentified persons with a sharp-edged weapon at his house in Pehowa on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Mastan Singh and he had been living in Germany for the past 25 years. As per Mastan’s kin, he had come to Pehowa two days ago due to the poor health condition of his father, who was admitted to a hospital.

Kuldeep Singh, a kin, said “Mastan had been living abroad for 25 years. He got married this year and after staying here for some days, he went back to Germany. His father was not keeping well and that is why he came to India. “Mastan’s wife told me that some men entered their room and attacked them. After the accused left, she alerted her mother-in-law. When I reached here I found Mastan lying in a pool of blood, and alerted the police”, he added.

Pehowa police stattion SHO Naresh Kumar said, “The matter is under probe.” A case has been registered.
