Students of a private nursing college in Narnaund started an indefinite dharna outside the residence of BJP MLA from Hansi Vinod Bhayana to protest against the delay in issuance of their migration certificates.

The students alleged that they had been following-up with the authorities regarding their demand to issue migration certificates to them from the Khushi Nursing College after its chairperson was arrested on the charges of sexual harassment.

The students alleged that their efforts failed to yield any concrete solution despite meeting the MLA several times. They said dharna would continue until the migration certificates were issued. The police have been deployed at the spot to maintain security. The officials, including DSP Vinod Shankar, were present during the protest.

The students said they had contacted the department concerned several times, but did not get any resolution. They alleged that the delay in migration was affecting their academic session and creating uncertainty about their future.
