Kaithal officials review security arrangements at exam centres, issue instructions

Police officials were instructed to remain alert and maintain strict vigilance both inside and outside the examination premises

Acting on the directions of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the district administration, led by Kaithal Deputy Commissioner Aparajita, and Superintendent of Police Upasana conducted inspections on the first day of the Class XII examinations of the Board of School Education, Haryana, across the district.

Earlier, the Chief Minister issued directions regarding the smooth conduct of examinations through a state-level video-conference.

The DC inspected examination centres set up at various government schools, and visited classrooms individually, checking arrangements related to windows, lighting and security. Instructions were given to install wall clocks in classrooms for the convenience of students and to display the number of present and absent candidates outside each room.

She said the district administration was committed to conducting the Classes X and XII board examinations in a fair and transparent manner. She warned that strict action would be taken against any candidate found involved in unfair means or anyone assisting in malpractice. She also appealed to the public to cooperate with the administration and encourage students to appear in exams with proper preparation and honesty.

SP Upasana reviewed security arrangements and directed police personnel to ensure that no unnecessary crowd gathered outside the centres. Police officials were instructed to remain alert and maintain strict vigilance both inside and outside the examination premises.

She said that only authorised staff would be allowed entry inside examination centres and proper security arrangements would remain in place throughout the examination period.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Sushil Kumar also inspected various centres.
