The STF Gurugram nabbed Mukesh Kumar, a criminal with a Rs 5,000 reward, who had been absconding since 2002. Acting on secret input, the team arrested him in Rohtak and handed him over to Shahbad Police Station.

In Kurukshetra, CIA-1 arrested Ravi alias Jojo on a production warrant in a July 2025 gold chain snatching case that had sparked panic locally. Jojo has a criminal history of 24 cases, including theft, snatching, robbery, rape and illegal weapon possession. He was produced in court and sent to judicial custody.

Gurugram Police made another major breakthrough by arresting six accused — Salim, Sonu alias Blender, Sujit, Rahul alias Abhay Joshi, Sahil and Ahsan Rana —and recovering five pistols/country-made guns and one live cartridge. Several of them were wanted in cases of murder, robbery, theft and Arms Act violations.

In Sirsa, police apprehended Joginder Singh alias Gindi and Harminder Singh alias Happy, both carrying Rs 5,000 rewards and wanted in multiple districts for murder and weapon-assisted robberies.

Kaithal Police’s Anti-Vehicle Theft Staff arrested Vijay alias Bhoot with a country-made pistol. He has nine cases registered against him, including attempt to murder, rioting, Excise Act violations and illegal weapons possession. His arrest, officials said, underscores heightened police surveillance in the region.
