Panipat’s couple clinches mixed double title in Haryana State Masters Championship 2026
The championship, organised by the Haryana Badminton Association, witnessed participation from top players across the state
Badminton player couple — Vishwanth Dasari and Divya Dasari —created history by winning the “Mixed Doubles 35+” title at the Yonex Sunrise 13th Haryana State Masters Badminton Championship 2026 held at Deuce Sports Badminton Arena, Gurugram, from February 20 to 22.
In an intense final, the Panipat pair defeated Gurugram’s Vijay Behra and Nidhi Chauhan with scores of 24-22, 17-21, 21-15, showcasing remarkable coordination and determination.
Adding to the achievement, Divya Dasari, partnering with Monika, also secured the “Women’s Doubles 35+” title, making it a double triumph for Panipat.
Vishwanth Dasari is currently serving as an Inspection Manager at IOCL Panipat refinery, balancing professional responsibilities with his passion for badminton. Their outstanding performance has brought pride not only to their family, but also to the sporting community of Panipat.
