Sirsa, July 15
The state general secretary of Mahila Congress, Santosh Beniwal, today said the party had a strong support base in Haryana. She said people were tired of the current dictatorial government and wanted to remove it from power as soon as possible. Beniwal conducted a public outreach campaigns in the villages of Araniyanwali, Randhawa, Rupana Khurd, Ludesar, Rupawas, Raipur and Barasari on Monday.
She accused the government of leaving the commoners to suffer from inflation while benefiting a few capitalists. She also claimed that the government had spared no group, including sarpanches, employees, farmers, soldiers and unemployed youth.
While announcing that the Congress was organising the ‘Nyay Chaupal Yatra’ to prepare for the upcoming Assembly elections, she said the campaign was aimed at connecting with people, listening to their problems and suggestions, and inform them about the party’s policies.
She criticised the government for canceling many examination, thereby increasing unemployment and pushing the youth towards drugs and crime. She said the informed citizens of the country understood the government’s deceitful tactics and would not repeat their past mistakes. She urged the villagers to vote for the Congress to end the reign of the dictatorial government in the state.
