Gurugram police have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of a 24-year-old PG caretaker, who was strangled to death during a dispute over a Rs 2,000 transaction in the Farrukhnagar area.
All suspects were apprehended on Monday from the Delhi-Jhajjar bypass road. They were identified as Rahul, alias Pappal (20), and Suraj (23), both residents of Hisar district in Haryana and Bittu, alias Commando (31), from Meerut in UP.
On June 5, authorities discovered a man deceased in room number 4 of Shri Shyam PG, Jat Colony, Farrukhnagar. Upon arrival, police identified the victim as Narender, alias Tota, a Farrukhnagar resident who worked as a caretaker at the PG.
According to the complaint filed by the deceased’s brother, on June 3, Narender, had an altercation with Rahul, Bittu and Suraj over money. During this confrontation, the three men allegedly threatened to kill him. He was then found dead in his PG room on June 5. An FIR was subsequently registered at the Farrukhnagar police station.
