Physiotherapy centre opens at Yamunanagar gurdwara

The Sant Jai Dayal Singh Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre was inaugurated at Gurdwara Dera Santpura in Yamunanagar on Saturday. The event marked Sant Pandit Nischal Singh Maharaj’s birthday.

The centre was jointly inaugurated by Mahant Karamjit Singh and MS Sawhney, president and general secretary of Guru Nanak Girls (GNG) College, Yamunanagar, respectively. Director Varinder Gandhi and principal Sukhwinder Kaur were also in attendance.

Mahant Karamjit said the centre was dedicated to the teachings and spirit of community service of Sant Nischal Singh Maharaj.

“The physiotherapy center will provide modern treatment facilities to those in need and will serve as a medium for social service,” he added. Sawhney said the centre would provide services related to joint pain, sports injuries and rehabilitation by experienced physiotherapists.

“The centre would be managed by the Sant Pandit Nischal Singh Santpura Yamunanagar Trust,” he added.

The Director and the Principal of the college hailed the initiative as an important step towards serving humanity.
