Pioneer Agritech opens second facility in Haryana's Kaithal

Pioneer Agritech has inaugurated its second manufacturing and distribution facility at Keorak village in Kaithal, Haryana, marking a significant step towards delivering quality protective farming solutions directly to farmers across the region. Farmers, industry partners, drip irrigation and shade-net suppliers, and other key stakeholders attended the event.

The facility stands out for its ‘Open Kitchen’ model — the first of its kind in India’s protective farming sector. Farmers can visit the factory, see the raw materials and brands being used, and customise their orders according to their specific requirements. The model offers complete transparency, customised solutions and greater confidence for customers.

During the inauguration, representatives of leading drip irrigation and shade-net companies addressed the gathering and assured farmers of a regular supply of spare parts and accessories at the Keorak facility at competitive prices. This will ensure that farmers do not have to travel outside the district to meet their nethouse and polyhouse maintenance requirements.

The facility has been designed to address a long-standing challenge faced by farmers in Kaithal. Those engaged in nethouse and polyhouse projects often had to travel to other districts to purchase spare parts and materials, resulting in additional costs and delays. The new facility will provide immediate local access to quality inputs at competitive rates.

Pioneer Agritech also unveiled its Joint Venture Scheme for non-farmer landowners seeking to put idle agricultural land to productive use. The projects will be supported by the company’s automation technology, enabling irrigation, climate control and several other farm operations to be monitored and managed remotely. The automation systems operate on solar energy, making the projects more efficient, environmentally responsible and sustainable. An in-house agronomy team will provide end-to-end field support.
