A police patrol vehicle rammed into a house in Narnaul town on Monday morning. Two police personnel were sitting in the vehicle at the time but no one suffered any major injuries.
The incident occurred near Sector 1 when a Dial 112 emergency response vehicle from the City police station was on a routine patrol. According to a district police spokesperson, the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid a nilgai that suddenly crossed the road.
“In an effort to avoid hitting the animal, the driver swerved, causing the vehicle to crash into a nearby house,” the spokesperson said. No occupants of the house were injured in the incident.
