Yamunanagar’s progressive farmer Dharambir Kamboj conferred ‘Antyodya Social Impact Award-2026’

Progressive farmer, Dharambir Singh Kamboj of Yamunanagar’s Damla village, the first national awardee at NIF’s 7th National Grassroots Innovation and Outstanding Traditional Knowledge Awards (2013), was conferred the ‘Antyodya Social Impact Award-2026’ for his notable innovation “The Multipurpose Food Processing Machine”.

The award recognises individuals and organisations creating meaningful, measurable impact through grassroots-driven, sustainable and community-centric initiatives aligned with the philosophy of Antyodaya.

He was awarded in a national conclave on Endogenous Sustainable Development-Abhyudaya-2026, which was jointly organised by the National Innovation Foundation-India, Vibha Vani India, CSIR–NIScPR, CRDT–IIT Delhi and Unnat Bharat Abhiyanon at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.

Dharambir Kamboj said the Government of Haryana was providing subsidies on his multi-purpose food processing machine.
