Rahul Gandhi on Thursday condemned the killing of Congress’ Faridabad based spokesman and worker Vikas Choudhry in broad daylight and said the crime mirrors the deteriorating law and order situation in BJP ruled Haryana.

“The killing of Vikas Choudhry is condemnable and holds a mirror to the deteriorating law and order in Haryana,” Gandhi tweeted ahead of his scheduled meet this evening with members of the Haryana Congress coordinations committee to discuss upcoming state polls.

The murder of Choudhry brought warring Haryana Congress factions together to demand immediate justice and probe.

Haryana Congress Chief Ashok Tanwar termed the crime as an indication of jungle raj. Former state CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda condemned it severely so did AICC media head and Kaithal MLA Randeep Surjewala.
