Chandigarh, September 22
A rape accused escaped from Bhondsi jail of Gurugram. The accused, Amit Kumar, was in the jail in judicial custody since September 15.
He escaped from the high security jail by hiding in a trolley that went to the jail premises to collect garbage.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon and came to notice at the time of headcount in the evening .
Later, CCTV footage showed that Amit had hided himself in the trolley that went to the jail to collect garbage.
