Shahid, who has around 17,000 followers on Facebook, shared a post describing an incident he claims took place in Gurugram. According to him, a resident of Sector 31 had called his employer to service an air conditioner. Shahid said he went to the location to carry out the repair work as assigned.

However, he alleged that upon reaching the house, the residents first asked his name. After hearing it, they reportedly called his employer and said they did not want the service done by a Muslim. Shahid claimed the resident told his boss on the phone: “Muslim Mohammadan se kaam nahi karwana.”

Shahid later narrated the experience on Facebook, saying the incident left him feeling humiliated. His post quickly gained attention and triggered a wider discussion online about religious bias in the so-called “Millennium City.”
