Superintendent of Police Deepak Saharan said the victim noticed a Facebook offer promising free credit cards for retired employees. When he clicked the link and filled out the forms, his mobile, which had the SBI app, was reportedly hacked. The cybercriminals then withdrew Rs 4.9 lakh from his bank account before the victim realised the fraud.
