The Revenue and Disaster Management Department has directed all Deputy Commissioners to ensure immediate submission of pending PAN details in property registrations exceeding Rs 30 lakh.
In a letter, Financial Commissioner Revenue Dr Sumita Misra said the Income Tax Department had sought PAN details of buyers and sellers for such transactions from FY 2019-20 to 2024-25.
Consolidated data from the Web-HALRIS portal has been shared, and tehsildars have been instructed to identify cases where PAN details were not entered despite crossing the prescribed limit.
Deputy Commissioners have been asked to monitor compliance, particularly in tehsils such as Ballabhgarh, Tigaon, Dayalpur, Palwal, Kharkhoda, Wazirabad, Manesar and Farrukhnagar, where pendency has been flagged for FY 2019-20.
