Meanwhile, addressing public meetings at Asadpur and Sunaria villages on Monday, the Rewari MLA stated that the Viksit Bharat-G RAM G scheme would not only provide employment to people but also increase their income.

Yadav said the scheme was being implemented under MNREGA and had many shortcomings. Due to this, rural development works were not being done, he claimed.

"Now, the Central Government has launched a new scheme. With the implementation of the Viksit Bharat-G RAM G scheme, new development works will be carried out in the villages," he said, adding that villagers would be given employment at their doorstep for 125 days, and the wages had also been increased.

"Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has issued guidelines to the Panchayat Department for the smooth operation of the scheme," he said.

Under the new scheme, a provision for unemployment allowance had been made if a labourer did not get work. "If there is a delay in payment of wages, the worker will be given an additional amount," he added.
