Rohtak has emerged as the top-performing district in the state in terms of utilisation of funds allotted under the District Plan for the financial year 2025–26. The funds are aimed at executing key development works across districts.
Rohtak utilised Rs 16.68 crore out of Rs 16.74 crore, achieving the highest utilisation rate of 99.65 percent in Haryana.
Congratulating officials and staff, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said the achievement reflects strong coordination among departments, transparency, and effective monitoring.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar, who also serves as the nodal officer for fund utilisation and Chief Planning and Development Officer (CPDO), said timely utilisation was ensured through continuous follow-up, strict supervision, and active inter-departmental coordination.
He added that the D-Plan focuses on development works, including construction of roads, drains, playgrounds, Anganwadis, schools, and village panchayat halls based on local needs.
These projects are approved by the District Development and Monitoring Committee, with annual grants enabling districts to complete priority works efficiently.
