Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) organised a seminar on the “Doctrine of Swadharma in the Bhagavad Gita” at Swarna Jayanti Sabhagar on the university premises. The event was jointly hosted by the departments of Sanskrit, Pali and Prakrit, the Centre for Yoga Studies and the Maharshi Dayanand & Vedic Studies Centre.

Vice-Chancellor Rajbir Singh said the Gita was not merely a religious scripture but a timeless guide to communication, leadership and management.

Keynote speaker Prof Ranveer Singh, former director of the Institute of Sanskrit & Indic Studies, Kurukshetra University, explained the Gita-based concept of Swadharma, saying that it guided individuals to act according to their nature and abilities.
