Rohtak’s MDU opens admissions for distance, online programmes
CDOE invites applications for UG, PG and certificate courses for 2026-27 session; admission portal open till September 15
Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, has opened admissions to various programmes offered through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) for the 2026-27 academic session. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia on Friday released the admission prospectus, while the online application portal will remain open until September 15.
Releasing the prospectus, Prof. Punia said distance and online education had become vital avenues for making higher education more accessible and flexible. He said the university was committed to delivering quality, technology-enabled learning and continuously strengthening its academic and teaching-learning systems to meet the evolving needs of students.
CDOE Director Prof. Rajesh Dhankhar briefed the Vice-Chancellor on the admission process and the programmes being offered. The prospectus, carrying details of courses and admission procedures, is available on the university's official website.
The CDOE offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online modes, including BA, BCom, MA, MCom and MSc courses in various disciplines.
Admissions are also open for several certificate courses in food truck operations, professional skills, German, French and Spanish languages, and communication skills in English.
