The state government has issued new guidelines with a view to make Samadhan Shivirs more effective and result-oriented. From now on, only those complaints which can be resolved at the local level will be accepted at the redressal camps.

While chairing a Samadhan camp here today, Mahendragarh Deputy Commissioner Manoj Kumar said that as per the new guidelines issued by the state government, six categories of complaints have now been excluded from the Samadhan Cell Portal.

These categories include major development projects which require administrative approval from state headquarters, transfer requests by government employees, applications moved under the RTI Act, requests for jobs, service matters of government employees and any kind of general suggestions.

"The new guidelines would improve the efficiency of the district administration and the residents would not have to make rounds of government offices to get their grievances addressed," said Kumar, adding that the underlying idea behind these camps is to end the day-to-day problems of the residents and streamlining the process will increase the focus on the real issues.

The DC heard the complaints of 60 residents during the camp. Mahendragarh SP Pooja Vashisth was also in attendance.
