'Samvad' programme at Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar

Hisar: The entrepreneurship club under the mentorship of the training and placement cell, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar (GJUST), organised its monthly Entrepreneur Talk Programme - Samvad. Prof Avnesh Verma, registrar of the university, was the chief guest of the event. Raj Arya, alumni of the university and CEO and MD of Hitech Enviro Engineers and Consultants Pvt Ltd was the keynote speaker. Pratap Singh, director, placement, presided over the function and greeted the guests. Raj Arya said how one should go for a new startup and gradually brand it by overcoming challenges.

Five skaters selected

Ambala: Students of OPS Vidya Mandir, Ambala, were selected for the State-Level Roller Skating Championship in Haryana Games. They participated in Ambala District Roller Skating Championship organised by Haryana School Games. In the under-17 category, Divya of Class X came first followed by Sanchita of Class IX and third in U-17 Inline (girls). Parth of Class IX grabbed 1st position, Parth Kalra of Class XI bagged second position and brought laurels to the school in U-17 quad (boys). In U-17 quad (girls) category, Prachi Kalra of Class XI clinched first position.
