Kurukshetra University’s Training, Apprenticeship and Employment Centre organised the valedictory ceremony of its week-long workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics on Friday.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva, said knowledge of artificial intelligence had become essential for youth skill development in the digital era, as AI and data analytics were transforming education, healthcare, industry and everyday life.
He emphasised that AI was no longer optional but a necessity, enabling individuals to improve work efficiency and quality. Prof Sachdeva noted that AI and data analytics-driven skills were crucial for making youth self-reliant and future-ready. Dean Academic Affairs Prof Rakesh Kumar added that AI would generate more employment opportunities, provided individuals continuously upgrade their skills.
On the occasion, chief executive officer of Code Quotient Company, Arun Goyat, shared valuable insights with students on AI and data analytics.
Prof Pradeep Kumar provided an overview of various technical sessions conducted during the workshop.
