The police said the dispute stems from a legally operated liquor outlet in the Nathusari Chopta area, previously held by the accused. The complainant alleged that after losing the contract, the accused began harassing the family and is involved in illegal liquor trade.

The Nathusari Chopta police, along with a crime scene team, collected evidence, including broken camera parts and metal fragments, which were sent to the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory in Hisar. The forensic report confirmed gunshot damage and firearm residue.
