Singers Sapna, Mika campaign for Kanda!

Much to the embarrassment of her party, Haryanvi singer Sapna Chaudhary, who joined the BJP recently, on Saturday campaigned for rival candidate Gopal Kanda through a video. Singer Mika Singh campaigned for Kanda and participated in a roadshow in Sirsa.

Sources said Sapna was scheduled to come to Sirsa to campaign for Kanda, but Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari dissuaded her from doing so. Kanda, a former minister, had figured in the case of suicide by a woman employee of his airlines.

The sources said Sapna informed party leaders that she was of the view that Kanda being an Independent candidate, she could campaign for him.

A video message of Sapna Chaudhary seeking support for Kanda went viral on social media. There were posters of Sapna in favour of Kanda, said a senior Delhi BJP leader.
