Chandigarh: Haryana has bagged Global Agriculture Award 2019 under the best animal husbandry state category. Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, Sunil K Gulati received the award at the fourth Global Agriculture Summit 2019 organised by the Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture in New Delhi. A government spokesman said the state bagged the award because its Animal Husbandry Department adopted best practices during 2019. TNS
