Chandigarh: Director General of Police Manoj Yadava on Wednesday instructed senior police officers to strictly enforce the lockdown clamped in the state to combat the spread of coronavirus, an official statement said. The state government has imposed a seven-day lockdown from May 3 till May 10 amid a surge in Covid cases. TNS

Army exam for clerk postponed

Chandigarh: The CEE exam for clerk and storekeeper in the Army has been postponed due to the Covid pandemic. It was scheduled for May 30 at the Hisar military station. The Director of Army Recruitment Office, Charkhi Dadri, said the information regarding the next date of the examination would be announced through newspapers. TNS
