Students showcase talent & grit at M-Fiesta opening day
The two-day grand management festival M-Fiesta-2026 at JCD Institute of Business Management, JCD Vidyapeeth, began with an exciting off-roading event and vibrant cultural activities on Tuesday.
The festival was inaugurated by Dr Vijay Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, along with Dr Ishwar Malik and JCD Vidyapeeth Director General Dr Jai Parkash, who flagged off the festivities.
The off-roading event featured vehicles navigating challenging terrains and obstacles, with participants showcasing their driving skills.
Dr Jai Parkash said, “The off-roading challenge teaches students to overcome difficulties, similar to real-life challenges, while also enhancing confidence and teamwork. Events like these provide students a platform to display their talent and learn essential life skills.”
The day also featured a range of cultural programmes, filling the campus with energy and enthusiasm. Performances included group singing, energetic bhangra and solo dance acts. Students from the Rehabilitation School impressed the audience with a group dance, while traditional Haryanvi performances by BEd college students were among the highlights.
