Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa on Friday visited Dabwali railway station and met passengers as part of the ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi’ campaign.
He encouraged travellers to use India-made products and support local entrepreneurs and artisans to help build a stronger and self-reliant nation.
Addressing people at the station, Gangwa said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had urged citizens to adopt domestically produced goods to make India self-sufficient. He noted that throughout history, including the freedom struggle, Indians have united to achieve national goals.
Gangwa added that India has progressed steadily under PM Modi’s leadership over the past 11 years. He recalled that during the Covid pandemic, the country lacked PPE kits, gloves and ventilators, yet turned the crisis into an opportunity by producing essential supplies domestically and even exporting medicines and vaccines to other nations — an important step towards self-reliance.
