Kurukshetra Civil Surgeon Dr Sukhbir Singh said a special surgical camp will be organised at the Lok Nayak Jai Parkash District Civil Hospital from November 17 to 22 in Kurukshetra. The Civil Surgeon said under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, beneficiaries would also receive free surgical treatment at government hospitals. To provide benefits to as many beneficiaries as possible, a special camp was being organised.

He said the Haryana Government had launched some surgical packages for Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries at government hospitals, earlier, free treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme was provided through private hospitals. District Nodal Officer (Ayushman Bharat) and Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Pradeep Kumar said the camp would focus on surgeries related to knee, hip, cataract and abdominal diseases.
