According to IMD terminology, ‘many places’ corresponds to a spatial distribution of 50-75 per cent, and ‘a few places’ refers to 25-50 per cent coverage. In the rest of Haryana, rain is likely only over isolated places, accounting for less than 25 per cent coverage.

On June 4, rain accompanied by winds of 50-60 kmph is predicted over a few places in Fatehabad, Kaithal, Hisar, Jind, Rohtak, Sonepat, Panipat, Jhajjar and Faridabad. In the remaining districts, rain is likely at isolated places, accompanied by winds of 40-50 kmph.

Chandigarh and Panchkula are likely to remain dry, though gusty winds may prevail.

On June 5, the western disturbance influencing the region is expected to weaken. However, isolated rain accompanied by gusty winds is likely across Haryana, except in Chandigarh and Panchkula.

On June 6, isolated showers are forecast in western and southern Haryana, including Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Nuh and Palwal.

On June 7, the weather would remain dry across Chandigarh and Haryana.
