The event was organised by the Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development Board (HSHDB) on the occasion of Basant Panchami at the Pehowa Saraswati Tirtha. “The Saraswati River is a powerful symbol of India’s cultural unity, connecting not only Haryana but the entire nation through a shared civilisational heritage. The state government is working to revive the Saraswati by interlinking rivers and constructing reservoirs. Pilgrimage sites associated with the river, ‘Saraswati Tirthas’, are also being developed,” said Saini.
