Two men were killed when their car rammed into a tree on the Jahajgarh–Beri Road here on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Manjeet (34) and Mandeep (28), both residents of Sonepat district.

The accident occurred while the duo was returning home from Loharu town. As they were moving towards Beri town from Jahajgarh village, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into a roadside tree. Both occupants died on the spot.

Ashok, Investigation Officer, said the police rushed to the site upon receiving information and sent the bodies to the Civil Hospital for postmortem. Family members of the deceased were also informed. “The bodies have been handed over to the kin after the postmortem,” he added.
