UPSC meet on DGP panel on February 15

CHANDIGARH: The UPSC will hold a meeting on February 15 to shortlist a panel of three names for the new DGP of Haryana.



Chandigarh, February 11

The UPSC will hold a meeting on February 15 to shortlist a panel of three names for the new DGP of Haryana.

Sources said the names of three officers would be shortlisted from the list of 10 IPS officers forwarded to it by Haryana.

The post of DGP had fallen vacant after the retirement of BS Sandhu on January 31. Additional Chief Secretary, Home, SS Prasad, did not confirm the fixing of the date for the meeting. — TNS
