Urban Local Bodies Minister attends inaugural ceremony of Zonal Football League

Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister Vipul Goel attended the inaugural ceremony of Haryana Zonal Football League-2025, organised by District Football Association Yamunanagar, as the chief guest. This competition is being organised at Tejli Sports Complex in Yamunanagar. The ceremony was presided over by Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora.

Addressing the players, Vipul Goel said that the BJP government in Haryana was providing numerous facilities for sports. He said residential sports academies were being opened in every district.

“First of all, I congratulate and wish the District Football Association president Bharat Bhushan Juyal and his committee for organising this grand event,” said Goel. He also announced donation of Rs 11 lakh from his voluntary fund to the District Football Association, Yamunanagar.

The minister also inspected the under-construction open-air theatre and auditorium in Jagadhri. He said that the open-air theatre was being constructed on about five acres of land at a cost of Rs 42.90 crore.

He said about 35 per cent of the construction work of the open-air theatre and auditorium had been completed and the remaining work would be completed by March 2027.
