Wedding feast brings together Haryana’s political heavyweights
Hooda, Saini share table at Congress MLA’S family wedding function
A political gathering drew attention at the pre-wedding feast of Abhimanyu, nephew of Congress MLA Balwan Singh Daulatpuria, held ahead of his wedding. Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini were seen together, sharing the lunch table and engaging in extended conversations.
Several prominent leaders, including Cabinet Minister Ranbir Gangwa, Rajya Sabha MPs Subhash Barala and Randeep Surjewala, and Lok Sabha MPs Deepender Hooda (Rohtak) and Jai Prakash (Hisar), attended the event. State legislators from both Congress and BJP were present. Deepender Hooda warmly welcomed CM Saini, while Thaneser MLA Ashok Arora offered his seat, allowing the CM and Hooda to sit nearby. CM Saini was also seen talking at length with Adampur MLA Chandraprakash.
The police were on high alert due to the presence of VIPs. The groom, Abhimanyu, is actively involved in his family’s business and his uncle’s political work. The bride, Nancy, is the daughter of a brick kiln businessman from Jhajjar.
Several religious leaders, including Guru Kanwar Maharaj from Radha Swami Dinod Ashram and Sant Brahmdas Maharaj of Dera Bhumanshah, were also in attendance.
