Several parts of Sonepat city are very dirty and unsanitary, especially the vegetable market and the old town area. Heaps of garbage can be spotted along roads and in marketplaces in the city. The municipal authorities should take cognisance of this issue and ensure that cleanliness is maintained throughout the city in the interest of the area residents.

Waterlogging in Rohtak

The accumulation of rainwater has been causing a lot of inconvenience to residents of Rohtak city. Even a brief spell of rain is enough to cause waterlogging in several parts of the city. Rainwater mixes with sewage, adding to the woes of the area residents.

In addition, it is a hard task for commuters, especially pedestrians and two-wheeler riders, to pass through the the waterlogged roads. Why have the officials concerned turned a blind eye to our problems? They must look into the matter and ensure that action is taken in this regard on priority.

The common man has been greatly affected by the rising prices of daily-use items. Lower-middle class people are the worst hit. The authorities concerned should ensure that the prices of essential commodities are kept in check.
