A shocking video from a private school in Haryana’s Fatehabad district showed the school owner dragging and beating girl students. After searching for three days, police arrested him on December 5, but he was later released on bail. Some students have now spoken about long-term physical and sexual abuse. The case has now been sent to the Haryana Women’s Commission and other authorities.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
