A 25-year-old widow, who is a mother of three children, was allegedly abducted and gangraped after being given a drink laced with sedatives here on September 18.

In a complaint lodged with the women’s police station on Saturday, the victim claimed that one of the accused, Dilshad, who was known to her and used to visit her house several times, took her to someone’s house on some pretext last Wednesday. There, two of his friends — identified as Bhola and Naushad — were already present.

She alleged all three men raped her after she fell unconscious after consuming a sedative-laced drink allegedly given by Dilshad.

The police have registered a case under Sections 376-D, 365 and 323 of the IPC. Dilshad had been arrested, said Savita, SHO, women’s police station, Palwal.

In another incident, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted by a man known to her here on September 18. I her complaint, the alleged she was sexually assaulted after the accused gave her a drink laced with sedatives.

“A case has been registered under Sections 376, 323 and 365 of the IPC. The accused is yet to be arrested,” a police official said.
