Will back non-BJP, non-Cong govt at Centre in 2019: Digvijay

The Jannayak Janata Party will be fully established and ready to take to the streets by the end of January next year. It will help in the formation of a non-BJP and non-Congress government at the Centre after the General Election.

This was announced here on Tuesday by Digvijay Chautala, head of the Indian National Students Organisation (INSO). His father Ajay Singh Chautala is INSO patron.

Outlining the party’s roadmap, Digvijay said its symbol would soon be decided by the Election Commission. He said the party would launch its enrolment drive across the state with focus on the youth.

“The salient point will be the launch of ‘one booth, 10 youth campaign’ on December 21 with a target to cover 16,000 booths,” he said.

He alleged that Leader of Opposition Abhay Chautala had been instigating INLD leaders to make uncalled for outbursts against leaders of the Jannayak Janata Party.

Talking about the General Election next year, Digvijay claimed that regional parties would become the fulcrum in formation of a non-BJP and non-Congress government at the Centre.

He can't use INSO name, says Arora

Chandigarh: State INLD president Ashok Arora on Tuesday said Digvijay Singh Chautala did not have any right to use the name of INSO or claim to be its president as INLD patriarch Om Prakash Chautala had dissolved the body. Arora said while suspending Digvijay and his brother Dushyant Chautala, the party patriarch had dissolved the youth wing of the INLD as well as INSO. "Digvijay is no more INSO president. He should either float his own students' body or apologise to his grandfather if he wants to retain his link with the organisation," he said. TNS
