Hisar, November 23

A youth was killed in celebratory firing at a wedding function in Putthi village of Hisar district on Monday night.

Sonu of Rohtak’s Meham town came to attend the wedding of his friend Vinay in Putthi village. While dancing, Narender fired some shots in the air and the victim was hit by a bullet in the chest.

Inspector Vijay Pal Singh said a case was lodged under Section 304, IPC. — TNS
