100 take part in Himpedicon at Tanda college and hospital

KANGRA: The Himachal Academy of Paediatrics in association with the paediatric department of Tanda hospital organised a two-day conference ‘21st Himpedicon 2019’ on Mission Uday which concluded today.

The Himachal Academy of Paediatrics in association with the paediatric department of Tanda hospital organised a two-day conference ‘21st Himpedicon 2019’ on Mission Uday which concluded today.

Dr Nivendu Chowdhary, the newly elected general secretary of the Himachal Academy of Paediatrics, said the meet was inaugurated by Principal of the hospital.

Specialist faculties from different parts of the state spoke at the conference which was attended by around 100 delegates.

A general body meeting of the academy was also held and new office-bearers were elected. Prof Rakesh Sharma from the IGMC was elected the president, Dr Nivendu the general secretary and Dr Vipin Roach from the IGMC as the treasurer. — OC
