16 IAS, eight HAS officers transferred in Himachal

Shimla, October 31

In a major administrative reshuffle, the government today ordered the transfer of 16 IAS and eight state administrative (HAS) officers.

Ashish Kohli has been appointed the Commissioner of the Shimla Municipal Corporation. Kohli, a state administrative services officer, is at present posted as State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.

Nisha Singh, Adviser (Health) at Delhi and Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Social Justice and Empowerment, Printing and Stationery, has been given charge of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries besides Adviser Health.

Sanjay Gupta, ACS (Forest), has been given the charge of Social Justice and Empowerment. RD Dhiman, ACS (Agriculture and Revenue), has been posted as ACS Revenue, Language, Art and Culture and Forest.

Kamlesh Kumar Pant, Principal Secretary, Labour and Employment and Transport, has been given the additional charge of Environment, Science and Technology and the Chairman of the HP State Pollution Control Board. Dr Ajay Sharma, Secretary (Ayurveda, Youth Services and Sports and Technical Education), will look after Printing and Stationery instead of Youth Services and Sports.

SS Guleria, Registrar, Cooperative Societies, has been posted as Secretary, Youth Services and Sports. He will continue to hold the post of Divisional Commissioner, Kangra. Rakesh Kanwar, Secretary to the Governor, also holding charge of Special Secretary, Agriculture, will hold additional charge of Director, Public Finance, and Public Enterprise-cum-Special Secretary (Finance).

Amit Kashyap, Labour Commissioner and MD, General Industries Corporation, has been given the additional charge of MD, HP Power Corporation Ltd. He will continue to hold charge of MD, General Industries Corporation.

JM Pathania, Director, Transport, has been posted as Director (Personnel), HP State Electricity Board Ltd. Rajesh Sharma, Director, Public Finance and Public Enterprises, has been posted as Registrar, Cooperatives Societies.

Rakhil Kahlon, Special Secretary (Education and Housing), will hold the additional charge of Health and Family Welfare. Chander Prakash Verma, Director of the HP Institute of Public Administration, has been given the additional charge of Special Secretary (Industries).

Sandeep Kumar, under transfer as Director (Personnel), HP State Electricity Board, has been posted as MD, Himachal Roadways Transport Corporation (HRTC). Neeraj Kumar, Special Secretary (Forest), has been posted as Labour Commissioner.

Abid Hussain Sadiq, Special Secretary (Industries) has been posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Corporation. He will continue to hold the post of Chief Executive Officer-cum-MD Smart City Ltd, Shimla. Anupam Kashyap, Special Secretary (Tourism and Civil Aviation) has been posted as Director, Transport.
