184 new Covid cases, 3 deaths reported in Himachal

Shimla, October 13

As many as 184 Covid cases were reported in the state today, taking the tally to 17,762. Besides, three persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, raising the fatality figure to 249. The three deaths took place in Solan, Mandi and Kangra.

The highest number of 38 cases were reported in Shimla, followed by 30 in Mandi, 23 in Kangra, 20 in Sirmaur, 18 each in Bilaspur and Lahaul and Spiti, eight each in Hamirpur and Kullu, six each in Una and Chamba and one in Kinnaur.

Twenty persons tested positive for Covid-19 in Kangra district on Tuesday while a 65-year-old resident of Palampur died at Tanda medical college.
