Shimla, May 31
With 21 new cases being reported in the state today, the number of coronavirus cases in the state has risen to 330, including 212 active cases and five deaths.
The government issued an advisory, stressing the need for ensuring social distancing with the opening of all government offices with 100 per cent staff from tomorrow.
Though no decision has been taken on the opening of educational institutions, more relaxations are being made, including 14-hour relaxation in curfew from 6 am to 8 pm.
The highest number of eight cases were reported from Kangra, taking the total cases to 87, including 58 active cases and 28 cured. While seven patients have come from Delhi, including two children, one came from Mumbai.
In Hamirpur, four new cases were detected, including two men who had returned from UP. Two others include a woman from Delhi. Four cases each were detected from Solan and Una districts.
A second positive case was reported from Jaon village of Nirmand in Anni subdivision of this district.
Kullu DC Richa Verma said a 65-year old man had returned from Delhi in a car on May 19 with six members of his family.
