27 teachers selected for HP state award
As many as 27 teachers have been selected for the HP State Teachers Award this year. These teachers will be conferred the award on September 5 on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
While 13 teachers have been chosen for the award from the general area, five have been selected from the tribal and hard areas. Meanwhile, nine teachers have been selected under the category of Special Award. The selected teachers have been selected for the award for their outstanding services in the field of education and taking special interest in teaching the students.
Selected teachers from general areas are Suneel Dutt, principal, GMSSS Jogindernagar; Kundan Lal GMSSS Anni; Sanjay Kumar, GUSSS Sarahan; Sanjay Kumar GMSSS Sundernagar; Hardeep Singh, GSSS Teuri; Naresh Kumar GGSSS Sabathu; Prem Singh Thakur GGSSS Sultanpur; Hem Raj GSSS Dhangiara; Sunil Kumar GHS Chakmoh; Madhu Bala GPS Bharengi; Upender Thakur GPS Thamari; Surender Kumar GPS Firmu; and Bhagirathi Sharma GPS Punjvilla.
Teachers selected from tribal area are Kedar Nath Sharma, GSSS Rei; Subhash Chand, GSSS Ladda; Chandna Devi, GSSS Jiskoon; Sant Kumar Negi, GCPS Pangi; Rita Bala, GPS Brelangi.
